Privacy Policy

Kwickly is an apartment/gated-community maintenance-request app. Apartment admins register their community, residents join with a code, and residents report maintenance issues that admins track through to resolution. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, phone number, gender (used only to pick a profile avatar), and flat number.
• Apartment information: the name, address, and unit count of the apartment/community you register or join.
• Maintenance tickets: the category, description, location, and any photo you attach when reporting an issue, plus its status history.
• Payment information: apartment subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. Kwickly never receives or stores your card, UPI, or bank details — only a payment reference and amount are recorded on our side.
• Device/notification data: a device token may be stored to deliver push notifications about your tickets and account.

How we use your information

We use this information solely to operate the app: verifying your identity via SMS one-time code, connecting you to the correct apartment workspace, routing maintenance tickets to your apartment's admin, generating subscription invoices, and notifying you about updates relevant to your account. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Who can see your information

Your name, flat number, and phone number are visible to the admin(s) of your own apartment workspace, so they can manage your maintenance requests and community membership. Residents of other apartments cannot see your data. Klippers (the operator of Kwickly) can access data as needed to operate the service, respond to support requests, and enforce these terms.

Third-party services we use

• Firebase (Google): authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications.
• Razorpay: payment processing for apartment subscriptions.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and applicable data-protection obligations.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections and stored using Firebase's default encryption at rest. Access to your apartment's data is restricted to that apartment's residents and admins, and to Klippers' platform administrators, via server-enforced access rules.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your own account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete My Account), or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page. Historical maintenance-ticket and invoice records tied to your apartment may be retained by the apartment workspace for its own record-keeping after your account is deleted, in the same way a maintenance log would be kept after a resident moves out.

Children's privacy

Kwickly is intended for adult residents and apartment administrators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
